The women of Hope Centre are declaring a Year of Harvest!

Along with all of our church, we believe that 2025 is the year we see God move in incredible ways. We 'lift up our eyes' with expectation and joy.

The joy that comes in knowing that God sustains us in every season and as we reap the harvest of the Kingdom, His joy is our strength.

We encourage you to take time this year to sow into your life, your relationships with family and friends and to sow into our communities and cities.

As we labour in the harvest together, we are trusting God, believing for one another and encouraging each other.

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
— Psalm 126:5-6

Things to look forward to in 2025

  • As Mother’s Day draws near we want to celebrate our women with a Morning Tea on Wednesday, May 7 at 9:30am at church. We would love you to join us and feel free to bring family and friends. Childminding will be available for your little ones. Please register for catering purposes.

  • Over the winter break what could be nicer than a girl’s night out wearing your comfy leisure clothes which probably involves stretchy pants and trying your hand at something new. Join us Wednesday July 2 @ 6:30pm at the church for some hot soup and crusty bread then choose a workshop that interests you and have a laugh as you try it with others. The workshops are to be confirmed but things like a paint class, flow movement, taking great photos on your phone, make up tips or cooking. Please register for a class.

  • The mind, body and spirit are all different but equally important parts of a person. It is important to understand their connection to each other because you can’t separate them if you want to live a life that is balanced and healthy. We are planning an informative night on Wednesday Sept 3 @. 6:30pm at church to help answer some of your questions in dealing with the different stressors we’re exposed to on a daily basis.

  • Let’s support Mimi’s House by joining in the walk to raise funds. It is a lovely pleasant walk along the river. Come with your life group, coffee catch up girls or invite friends and workmates to join you. Oct 11

  • Chocolate is one of the most beloved treats in the world, for some it is a pure decadent moment, that rare treat or for others an every day food staple. Whether you prefer a rich and creamy milk chocolate or a dark and bittersweet chocolate, with or without the sugar or milk. Whatever it is, chocolate brings a smile. To finish the year off we are having a night of fun enjoying everything chocolate. Come join us Wednesday Nov 5  @ 6:30pm at the church. Please register for catering.
